Informational Writing

The purpose of teaching informational writing is to teach students how to communicate information in written form. It empowers them to teach others about topics they have researched or know a lot about.

At AHISK, grade 3I and 3O students wrote informational paragraphs about tigers using this worksheet. The worksheet provided them with information about tigers, which they used to write their paragraphs, and graphic organizers to help them categorize their ideas, which were helpful for below-average students to achieve differentiation.

Finally, they wrote their paragraphs, and of course they never missed any chance to color.
