Integration Project

Writing is a critical skill for students to learn, and its development does not have to be limited to English class. That’s why, grade 3P at AHISK had this integration project between English and science.

Students wrote informative paragraphs about soil, its layers, types, and what plants get from soil, summarizing what they learned this week in science. By learning more about soil, the project was linked to real-life experience.

The class was turned into an inquiry space by prompting what the students noticed and recording it in their paragraphs.
