Accepting Differences

It is said that accepting all humans as our own kind doesn’t weaken or belittle us in any way; rather, it only magnifies our innate humanity and brings out the true human in us.

At AHISK, grade 3Q advisory class lesson was about accepting differences, and how everyone can make a difference in the lives of others. They shared their knowledge about differences, how to accept them, and the negative effects of not accepting others, and concluded that if they don’t accept people, they don’t have time to know and love them.

Grade 3Q students took two blue stripes representing the same blue ribbon, kept one for themselves as being honored by the teacher, and gave the second to the person they wanted to thank and said, "You really make a difference."
