Compare and contrast

At AHISK, we believe that comprehension skills are fundamental to language fluency and are necessary for students' progress in the language. Comprehension goes beyond reading the text on the page.

Grade 3 students learned how to compare and contrast using this activity based on their reading selection.

When students learn how to compare and contrast well, they begin to develop an understanding of how things work in the world. This helps them, as learners, make sense of the world around them. They also become better readers because they have a deeper understanding of what they read.
