At AHISK, our hearts are like buckets that can be filled with acts of kindness and love. We all have an invisible bucket that can either be filled or emptied. We shouldn’t wait for others to fill our buckets. We should start doing these kind actions to others and fill their buckets too. We should be bucket fillers. You will experience a rush of positive emotions in yourself as you fill people's buckets. You fill yours at the same time. These feel-good hormones can make you calm, happy, and boost your self-esteem. It empowers your mental health and others.
Grade 3P celebrated World Mental Health Day by learning about kindness and how to be bucket fillers. They sorted the choices on the board, and then they filled the buckets, supervised by their English teacher.
