Orbit Grade 9 students discussed how renewable resources are different from non renewable sources of energy. Our students recognized that much of the world relies on non-renewable energy to heat their homes, power their electronic devices, and power their cars. Once these energy sources are used up, they will be gone forever. This activity aimed at inspiring students to develop technologies that can efficiently use renewable energy sources, which is critical to our future.
