Despite the Covid-19 Pandemic, Grade 11 IB students celebrate “world Down Syndrome Day” through their CAS INSTAGRAM PAGE (ahisk_cas). They raised awareness about this genetic disorder disease after making a group research as part of their Biology curriculum. Under the title “rock your socks” they invited friends, teachers, family members to wear their colorful mismatched socks in celebration of people with Down syndrome and they posted the pictures received on Instagram.
In addition, group of students from girls section collaborated with the boys section in order to prepare and represent a poem about people with Down syndrome as part of the celebration.
