Our grade 5 students were exploring place value of whole numbers in three different forms: standard, word and expanded form in the first station and in the second station students were arranging numbers in descending order to represent numbers through hundred millions. In third station, students were writing the value of the underlined digit and in the fourth station they were rounding to the nearest hundred and thousand.
