With great pride, AHISK celebrated the 89th Saudi National Day starting from Sunday 19th of September 2019 till Sunday 29th of September 2019 with full enthusiasm. All the staff, teachers, and students contributed in an extraordinary way to celebrate the unity, achievements, and progress of the country in accordance with the vision 2030. The main entrance at the Preschool was decorated as well The Girls’ section reception area and the gym turned to an amazing piece of artwork representing Saudi Arabia under the theme “Hemma Hatta Lqima”. All students were dressed in Saudi Arabian traditional style clothing as well as white or green T-shirts where morning assemblies were conducted daily in which information related to the history of KSA, the royal family of KSA, Vision 2030 and the advent of oil production in KSA was shared. At the boys section Students performed the traditional Saudi dance in the assembly as well.
Established professionals, who are parents, were called during this week to speak to the students about the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Vision 2030, in the morning assembly. A representative of the Ministry of Education also visited the school to witness the main even on 29.09.19. In addition, students watched informatory videos during the social studies periods and prepared art work related to KSA during the Art period. Students and teachers wore the traditional thob or green or white shirts during the celebrations.
Overall, the students demonstrated interest and excitement for this event.
