On the 2nd of September 2018, the Grades 4 & 5 male students of AHISY had their Jumpstart Day. The event, which is an entire day learning experience, aimed primarily for learners to become more comfortable with the school learning atmosphere and get more acquainted about the school.
Accordingly, the students together with their homeroom teachers were engaged in various activities such as discussion of the school and class rules, orientation about the subject areas, setting of expectations for both teachers and students, brainteaser and brain gym exercises, and film viewing.
Most importantly, the Jumpstart Day served as an avenue for teachers to start building positive relationships with their students.
