Brain-based Learning

AHISK conducted an excellent workshop under the

title: ‘Brain-based Learning” by the Head of Girls Section “Mrs. Majida Ghandour” in the gym area of the girls section.

During this workshop, all staff was highly interactive and anxious to know the real meaning and objectives behind this title.

Mrs. Majida emphasized that the Brain-based learning refers to teaching methods, lesson designs, and school programs that are based on the latest scientific research about how the brain learns. It is all about smarter, more purposeful teaching that can reach a greater number of students.

Brain-based learning is motivated by the general belief that learning can be accelerated and improved if educators base how and what they teach on the science of learning, rather than on past educational practices, established conventions, or assumptions about the learning process.

Thumbs up to an enthusiastic, collaborative, and extraordinary workshop that will definitely  help all our teachers in their coming step to reach above and beyond!!
