Science Fair

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious.” — Stephen Hawking

Teaching science requires special attention and training which is ought to be positioned in students aiming to invoke reasoning and curiosity. Most of us grow up thinking that science has relevance to the things manifestly concrete. We grow up having little interest, wonder and amazement about our world. It will also help to develop critical thinking skills, increase science literacy, and enable the next generation of innovators.

It requires experiments and laboratory equipment to let students explore and verify phenomena and learn methods of scientific inquiry.

Owing to this AHISK organized its science fair in the premises of school aiming to reveal the beauty of science that shape our everyday lives. Scores of students, teachers and parents participated in this learning activity reflecting curiosity and imagination, inspiring them to see their world differently.

AHISK believes that we must make our children realize that science is their ticket to understanding the world. It is a way of studying how the world works and that what it reveals is fascinating. In addition, engaging young learners in informal and interactive sciences is important because it pervades every aspect of our lives. It will also help them develop critical thinking skills, increase science literacy, and enable the next generation of innovators.

Speaking on this occasion parents highly appreciated the initiative taken by AHISK and labeled it to be more pervasive, more eye-catching and more memorable that would help their children in nourishing their learning. AHISK has modern physics, chemistry and biology laboratories. Labs are equipped with latest lab equipment where students under vigilance supervision, are allowed to perform experiments.
