Diabetes Awareness Campaign

Al-Hussan International School – Yanbu, Boys Section, successfully celebrated its Diabetes Awareness Campaign to promote health awareness and encourage healthy lifestyle choices among students and the school community.

The event was led by the Student Council officers and their adviser, with the support of the Science Department. The Student Council officers presented essential information about the differences between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, helping students better understand the condition and the importance of proper management. Informative flyers were also distributed to further raise awareness and share important facts about diabetes.

In support of the campaign, students, teachers, and staff wore blue shirts and blue ribbons to demonstrate their solidarity and commitment to raising awareness about diabetes.

The campaign was a successful and meaningful initiative that strengthened health awareness and highlighted the school community’s commitment to promoting health and well-being.
