At Al Hussan International School – Riyadh, Grade 1 Science students had a wonderful time exploring science through a fun outdoor shadow activity. They observed how their shadows changed throughout the day. They noticed shadows becoming shorter when the sun was high in the sky and longer when it was lower.
Students experimented by standing, bending, and moving their bodies to see how their shadows changed shape and size. This hands-on experience helped them understand the relationship between sunlight and shadows in an enjoyable and memorable way, a powerful blend of learning, discovery, and play!
