KG students at ALHussan International School -Riyadh were encouraged to pause all activities and enjoy a calm 10-minute reading time. Each student selected a picture book or story of their choice and found a comfortable spot in the classroom. The teacher began by modelling reading short story aloud to spark interest. During this time, students explored books independently, this activity helps develop a love for reading, builds early literacy skills, and creates a peaceful, focused classroom environment.
