Our Grade 1 students explored how light travels through different materials using flashlights and simple observations. They tested a wooden frame and discovered that light could not pass through it. Then they tried a glass and noticed that light shone right through!
Through this hands-on activity, students learned that some materials, like wood, block light, while others, like glass, allow light to pass. A fun and engaging way to build curiosity and scientific thinking in our young learners!
