DNA Extraction from Strawberries

Our Grade 10 American Biology students (Girls Section) explored the fascinating world of genetics through a hands-on DNA extraction experiment using strawberries. By carefully following scientific steps, they were able to observe real strands of DNA and connect classroom theory to real-life science.

This engaging lab encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of how living things are built at the molecular level. A great example of learning science by doing!
