How Does Sand Move?

Our Grade 4 Science students – Girls Section explored how sand moves with the help of wind!

Using straws, the students blew air onto sand and observed how the grains moved from one place to another. They then used rulers to measure the distance the sand traveled, helping them understand how stronger winds can move sand farther.

This hands-on experiment made learning interactive and meaningful, building curiosity and scientific thinking!
