Grade 8 Wax Museum-Girls’ Section

the Grade 8 Wax Museum was an engaging and interactive learning experience that brought history and culture to life. Designed to integrate research, writing, public speaking, and creativity, the event showcased students’ academic skills in a dynamic and memorable way.

Students researched historically and culturally significant figures, prepared short biographical reports, and created visual displays highlighting their subjects’ achievements. On exhibition day, the museum truly came alive as students dressed as their chosen figures and delivered memorized speeches when visitors “pressed” their play buttons—creating an authentic wax museum experience.

This enriching activity encouraged independent research, built public speaking confidence, and deepened students’ historical awareness, while aligning with global citizenship and cross-curricular English and Social Studies outcomes.
