Grammar Carnival 2025

Grammar leapt off the page and into real life at our immensely successful Al Hussan International School – Riyadh Girls Grammar Carnival 2025!

Students from Grades 4–12 stepped into the role of curriculum designers and learning leaders, curating interactive grammar games, logic-based challenges, and inquiry-driven stations that transformed abstract rules into meaningful, applied learning experiences. Through play-based, minds-on tasks, they demonstrated deep understanding of parts of speech, sentence structure, and punctuation while strengthening higher-order thinking, problem-solving, and academic language skills.

What made the day truly powerful was the partnership in learning: parents joined their children as co-learners, witnessing first-hand how confident, articulate learners emerge when grammar is taught through exploration, collaboration, and joyful rigor. The carnival served not just as an event, but as a live showcase of our school’s commitment to student agency, formative assessment, and evidence-based literacy practices—where every game, every station, and every reflection was intentionally designed to reinforce core grammatical concepts in memorable ways.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers and inspiring students for turning grammar into a space of creativity, ownership, and academic excellence.

Because when grammar is reimagined, learners don’t just follow the rules—they own the language.
