Library Session

In Library session at School our Grade 6 (British) learners engaged in a biography reading activity designed to enhance their informational text comprehension. The lesson focused on developing key literacy skills such as identifying main ideas, recognizing supporting details, and understanding chronological sequencing within a biographical text.

This activity promoted critical thinking, text analysis, and information-processing skills, allowing students to synthesize biographical details and present them in a structured format. The session also supported independent learning and encouraged students to make meaningful connections between the text and its broader context.
