As part of an exciting interdisciplinary activity conducted at Al-Hussan International Academy- Boys Section, Our IB students carried out The Rocket Launch Project where Science met Creativity and Teamwork. The goal was to explore projectile motion through a real-life rocket launch, measuring maximum height using trigonometry, calculating launch angles and initial velocity, and comparing theoretical predictions with real data. This engaging experience deepened their understanding of key Physics and Mathematics (AA & AI) concepts while applying CAS principles through collaboration, creative problem-solving, and reflection. Students embodied the Learner Profile traits of Inquirers, Thinkers, and Communicators as they investigated, analyzed, and confidently shared their findings.
