📚 Library Session – Grade 5

During today’s library session, our Grade 5 learners School are engaged in an enriching collaborative reading and analytical learning activity. Working in pairs, students read a selected story and applied critical thinking and comprehension strategies to examine key literary elements such as characters, setting, and theme.

The activity was designed to enhance reading fluency, interpretive understanding, and peer-to-peer learning through cooperative engagement. Through discussion and reflection, students demonstrated metacognitive awareness—actively thinking about how they comprehend and interpret texts.

Such learner-centered activities not only foster a deeper appreciation for literature but also cultivate essential 21st-century skills including communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
