Chemistry Lab

Grade 11 students visited the chemistry lab to perform a titration experiment between hydrochloric acid (HCl) and sodium carbonate solution. They used an indicator to show the end point of the reaction.

students learned how to set up the burette and pipette safely, measure solutions accurately, and record results in a table. They also practiced calculating concentrations and writing balanced chemical equations.

This experiment helped the students understand the basic steps of titration, which is an important skill for answering Paper 3 (AS Level) practical questions. It gave them hands-on experience and confidence in performing accurate titration.
