The HIA Drama Club has been a dynamic after-school space where creativity, confidence, and collaboration came to life! Entirely student-led, the club provided a platform for aspiring performers to explore the world of acting and stage production.
Throughout the year, members participated in bi-weekly workshops focused on essential performance skills such as voice projection, improvisation, and character development. Through interactive games like charades and mirroring, students were encouraged to express themselves freely and refine their craft in a supportive, energetic environment.
This year, the club channeled its talents into preparing a modern adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, with students collaborating on scriptwriting, directing, costume design, and set building. This highly anticipated production is set to debut next academic year—stay tuned for a performance that promises to be nothing short of magical!
