Experiment for Changes in Matter

Today our KG3 scientists performed an experiment for ‘Changes in Matter.’ In this experiment, children explored how matter can change from one form to another. They observed what happens when an ice cube melts. At first, the ice was cold and hard as a solid. After some time in a bowl at room temperature, the ice began to melt and turn into water, which is a liquid. On the other hand, they as the kettle heated up, the children noticed steam coming out. This steam is water changing from a liquid into a gas because of the heat. This helped the children understand that matter can change when it gets warmer or cooler. Through this hands-on activity, they learned about the change from solid to liquid in a fun and engaging way.
