Sweet Charity: Dessert for a Cause

HIA hosted the delightful and heartwarming event Sweet Charity: Desserts for a Cause, an inspiring blend of creativity, teamwork, and community spirit. Spearheaded by our grade 11 and 12 IB students under the guidance of the CAS and Activity Coordinator, the event welcomed grades 3 to 5 into a world of themed treats and festive fun.

Six imaginative teams stole the spotlight, each crafting a unique dessert experience that delighted attendees and raised an incredible 6,380 SAR for Benaa Association for Orphan Care.

• The Circus Snack Shack dazzled with their circus-themed treats and flawless organization.
• The Frosty Delights transformed their stall into a winter wonderland with beautifully decorated festive desserts.
• Picnic Dreams Desserts charmed everyone with cozy, picnic-inspired bites.
• Moons of Mars mesmerized with planetary-themed drinks and refreshing mojitos.
• Bake-a Mia brought the magic of Mamma Mia to life with a stunning array of foods.
• The Matcha Club wowed with unique matcha-infused drinks and desserts.
• The Donut Delight added a colorful, sugary twist with their irresistible selection of donuts and confections.

The event was not only a celebration of creativity and teamwork but also a meaningful act of kindness, leaving a lasting impression on all involved. In a wonderful gesture of recognition, HIA was honored with a certificate of appreciation from Benaa Association for Orphan Care for our contribution to their noble mission.

This unforgettable event truly showcased the power of imagination, generosity, and collaboration in making a positive difference.
