What do plants need?

The students of Grade 2H at HISR, were engaged in an exploratory investigation during their science lesson to observe how celery plants absorb water. Through this experiment, they learned how the stem of the plant plays a crucial role in transporting water to various parts of the plant. By placing celery stalks in colored water, students were able to visually track how the water traveled up the stem and reached the leaves, demonstrating the stem’s vital function in the plant's transport system.
