Lung Jar Models

The 7th-grade students were actively engaged in their biology class as they created lung jar models to simulate the breathing process.

Working with jars, balloons, and straws, they carefully assembled models that demonstrated how the lungs expand and contract with the movement of the diaphragm. As they pulled and pushed the diaphragm balloon, they observed how air enters and exits the "lungs," gaining a hands-on understanding of the mechanics of respiration.

The activity sparked interest and helped them connect the theoretical concepts of breathing with a visual, interactive model.
