Community Service and Service-Learning Morning Assembly

At HIA, grade 11 IB students completed a mural that highlights the distinctions between community service and service learning as their CAS experience. 

The mural artwork, unveiled during the morning assembly, exemplified the CAS philosophy by combining creative expression with community involvement. Students collaborated to design and paint a mural that not only beautifies the school environment but also educates our students on the nuances between community service and service learning. Such experiences encourage students to engage with real-world issues, promoting both personal and interpersonal development.

This initiative reflects the IB's commitment to fostering well-rounded individuals who are prepared to contribute thoughtfully and actively to their communities.
