Literature day in the library

The HIA library has organized a literature day in the library with the French, Urdu, and Arabic departments to promote cultural understanding, language proficiency, and appreciation for diversity. It encouraged linguistic and cultural appreciation. They gained exposure to diverse literary traditions, helping them develop a broader perspective and understanding of different cultures. Students studying Urdu, Arabic, and French had the opportunity to explore literature written in these languages, expanding their vocabulary, improving their language skills, and deepening their appreciation for the linguistic nuances of each. Celebrating literature in multiple languages promotes multilingualism. Students witnessed the power of language as a means of expression and communication, encouraging them to explore new languages and become more proficient in the ones they are already studying. By organizing a literature day, we help preserve the language and culture among the younger generation.
