Students of Al Hussan International School, Al Khobar participated in an International Environmental Children’s Drawing Contest.
The theme given to the students was, if the Earth could speak, what would it say to us? Would it say, “Thank you for keeping the seas and rivers clean,” “The forests are decreasing and I think I’m going to catch a cold,” or “I’m so sorry for destroying the buildings with the earthquake.” Or would it say, “It really hurt when I was hit by a meteorite the other day.” Try and imagine what the Earth would say and draw it in a picture.
Students worked on their paintings earnestly under the guided supervision of Mrs. Hadeer and Mrs. Yasmeen. Students seek advice on every step of the way to ensure the relevancy of their paintings with the message they wanted to deliver through their art work.
