Math students in grade 1 at AHISR were engaged in interactive activities that made learning math fun and meaningful. Recently, our students participated in a shape-sorting activity focused on exploring geometric shapes.
During this activity, students were provided with various two-dimensional shapes such as triangles, squares, rectangles, and circles. They worked collaboratively to sort these shapes based on their attributes, such as the number of sides and vertices.
This hands-on exercise not only reinforced their understanding of basic shapes but also encouraged teamwork and critical thinking.
