What are magnets?

Grade 2I students of HISR carried out a scientific inquiry where they sorted magnetic and non-magnetic objects using the magnetic properties of attraction and repulsion. 

They further explored the magnetic field around the poles of the magnet and were intrigued by the formation of field lines on white paper.
