At HIA, Urdu-speaking students from grades 8, 9, and 10 participated in the Urdu Theatre with joy, held by their Urdu teacher.
The auditorium was decorated to resemble a real-life theater. The performances ranged from informative to humorous. They included the re-enactment of the time when Raja Dahir ruled Sindh, a playful quarrel between husband and wife, and a teacher frustrated by mischievous students. English-translated scripts were handed to everyone as well.
It was a remarkable opportunity for the Urdu-speaking students to express their love for their culture, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed it.
