Mapping the story

Mapping a story refers to creating a visual representation or diagram that outlines the key elements and structure of a narrative. It typically involves identifying and organizing components such as characters, settings, plot events, conflicts, and resolutions.

At HIA, grade 5 students have successfully completed the project during the library session. Story mapping helped students develop a deeper understanding of the story by visually representing its components.

Indeed, it allowed them to analyze the relationships between characters, identify the story's main events, and grasp the overall narrative structure.
