Using Writing Prompts OIS First grade Urdu learners used prompts as stimuli to give a response to targeted language learning. While prompts can be visual, spoken, or written, our learners read a poem titled " The Elephant" and crafted a paper elephant.   The learners summarized the lesson in a topic sentence in Urdu.
