In line with our school's anti-bullying week at HIA, grade 4I had a meaningful yet fun activity during their advisory class.
The students had a heartfelt discussion about how mean words and actions can leave our hearts feeling all crumpled up, just like a wrinkled piece of paper, and how kind words (the Band-Aids) have the power to fix those wrinkled hearts, even if they can't make them perfect again. It was like giving a big, friendly hug to our own hearts! The wrinkles might still be there, but with kindness and understanding, our hearts can start healing.
