The subjunctive mood can be overwhelming for students with its various rules and uses.
At HIA, grade 8 students were able to identify and use the subjunctive mood in sentences. Students were provided with pictures of hypothetical scenarios; they were asked to write sentences using the subjunctive mood to describe what they would do or how they would feel in those situations.
As an assessment, students participated in a Quizzes game.
