Healthy Body

“Healthy Body – Healthy Mind” campaign starting from 27th Oct - 30th Oct, 14 in Boys' Section

As educators, it is our moral duty to highlight significance of being healthy and what the healthy food options present in our super markets are. Our young generation has indulged themselves in eating junk food whenever and wherever available. This campaign is just a beginning of a healthy start of our students as we will want them to adopt healthy food options and make them part of their healthy life style. Furthermore, our main focus is on spreading awareness about the consequences of taking in unhealthy food and what are the benefits of eating healthy and regular exercise.

If our students are healthy, it will lower absenteeism. In addition, it will increase academic achievement as well, which is the ultimate goal of any good school.

As teachers, our contribution will be in the form of cross - curricular activities inside and outside classrooms. Talk about healthy eating. Discuss healthy lunch box options with them. Share and eat healthy food with your students and become a role model for them. Ask students about the food they bring in their lunch boxes and encourage them to eat more fruits, vegetables and nuts. Remind them to keep themselves hydrated throughout the day.

We invited guest speakers (Professional Doctors) Dr. Kamran Adil for Grades 3- 6 and Dr. Gohar Wajid for Grades 7 – 9 to share information and knowledge about the topic. The students enjoyed their time listening to the doctors and learned the benefits of Healthy Food.
