AHISY Grade 1 students had their Labor Day Activity last April 22, 2018.
Mrs. Sadaf Burhan was invited as a guest speaker and lecturer to give the students insight on what Labor Day is about and the importance of celebrating it.
The students wrote a Thank You Letter to the teaching and non- teaching staff of AHISY as a way of expressing their gratitude and appreciation for their hard work which is the essence of Labor Day.
The students delivered the letters to teachers, administrators, and non- teaching personnel of our school. This activity has given the students a meaningful experience and it has taught them the value of respect and appreciation to the people within our community.
