AHISK - Students with the prior knowledge of acids and bases in chemistry, and as a part of their syllabus, they explored and found that there is a link with economics, CAS & ITGS.
They need to measure the acidity of solutions using digital instruments like pH meter.
So, they made a case study presentation on the impact of the acidic rains on the historical places which affects the economy of the country, in addition to the loss in marines' lives and plants.
They considered decreasing acidic gases in the atmosphere, by using cleaner sources of energy and using catalytic converters and filters in the
chimneys of factories and exhaust of the cars, by having collaborative work through different subjects in IB department.
