The morning assembly on the 3rd of Feb 2019 was conducted by Economics and Accounting students of grade 12. The theme of the assembly was Sustainable Development goals: Goal 9 and 12.
Students prepared a presentation on Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure and Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. They discussed how Investment in infrastructure and innovation are crucial drivers of economic growth and development. Sustainable consumption and production is about promoting resource and energy efficiency.
A 10 year Challenge of how the world has evolved in the last 10 years at the cost of pollution and over consumption of resources was depicted by the means of images.
Grade 3 boys and girls showed their support for the sustainable development goals by holding posters that suggested ways to ensure a better tomorrow.
